Spring 2024 Recruitment

According to Bucknell:
"Fraternity and sorority life provides leadership opportunities, peer and alumni connections and lifelong friendships. Potential New Members (PNMs) interested in joining a fraternity or sorority should spend time learning about the values of each organization and meeting as many men and women in each chapter as possible.
The University has a deferred Recruitment process meaning that students cannot join a Greek-letter organization until they are at least of sophomore status. Voted upon by the Board of Trustees, the University moved to deferred Recruitment in 1992. The process allows for first-year students to engage with their academics, acclimate to the University, and develop friendships with other Bucknellians prior to joining a Greek-letter organization. The one-year deferment also allows potential new members to make a more informed decision about whether fraternity or sorority life is the best choice for their Bucknell experience."
